In Central Asia, materials based on petroleum bitumen are used for waterproofing. Its black color is a big disadvantage in regions with high temperatures (Central Asia, Mediterranean region, Middle East):

The high price, labor intensity and service life of bitumen-based coatings cannot compete with water emulsions based on cheap powder from used tires, applied cold and containing no volatile solvents.

Direct sunlight on a black bitumen roof can cause surface temperatures of up to 80 - 85 ºC, as only a small fraction of the solar energy (10%) is reflected and more than 90% of the heat is absorbed.

High operating temperature and ultraviolet radiation lead to rapid drying, degradation and curing of the bitumen base, which in turn leads to loss of elasticity and rapid cracking and loss of waterproofing properties of the coating.

Innovative product based on water dispersion of plastics and styrene-butadiene rubber. It can be applied with a trowel, brush, on large areas it is effectively applied by airless spraying. Resistant to ultraviolet radiation.
